‘Hunter: The Documentary’ records the last couple of years and forms a career retrospective of Hunter (Rob Alan Hunter), one of the founders of the Perth and Australian hip hop scene and actively emceeing for the better part of two decades, who passed away from his battle with cancer on the 20th October 2011.
Known for his hard-partying lifestyle and unpretentious rapping style, fans and artists came to his aide with a fundraising campaign to help cover the costs of his treatment after the announcement of his condition in 2009. Periscope Pictures produced and filmed the documentary, which will feature interviews with prominent Australian emcees Urthboy, Phrase, Bias B, and many more. The picture should arrive late 2011 or early 2012.
