Introduction
“My name is DJ Tran-Bert aka Tatsuki The Abstract Philosophy from Grenoble, France. I’ve been a fan of music since I was 12 years old and got into the Hip Hop culture through artists as Gangstarr, Jurassic 5, Five Deez and Mobb Deep. When I saw a DVD of Doug Pray about scratching, I had a revelation. I was really impressed by skills of DJ’s as Q-Bert, Premier and of course DJ Shadow, so I knew for sure I wanted to get active with turntablism.”

“After that I had the opportunity to work with artists from my city as Fluid, T.A.S, Gratiano’s Turntable, Mamba Vert and Artkromatik, what proved to me that DJ’ing gives me pleasure. Hopefully in the end, people will get pleasure by listening to my mixes. I also produce music, by the way. Heavily influenced by Jazz, Soul and Hip Hop, I produce several tracks with abstract sounds and a personal touch, influenced by the cozy atmosphere and moments of my life.”
