This EP deals with a lot of introspective content and is influenced by backpack hip hop and jazz. With ‘The Duffel Bag’ Drig wants to represent positive hip hop and progress to define his own signature sound. Maybe the artistic approach of this second EP is not very unique in this day and age, but it’s definitely a promising step forward for a young emcee like Drig. Keep an eye on him!
