CunninLynguists are getting ready to release the third volume of the Strange Journey series. Strange Journey Volume 3 is unique in that, many fan’s gave input to influence the sound of this album as CL asked their fans for opinions on features, sounds and more. “In The City” featuring Zion I MC Zumbi is the first single off the upcoming record coming out April 1st.

Over the past few years the Cunninlynguists have really matured led by producer Kno who has really worked on his craft and cemented himself as one of the better producers out there, and this first single showcases that ability with a very mellow, somber sound. MCs Deacon and Natti as well as Zumbi flow beautifully over the production.

Manan is from Illinois (born close to Chicago) and currently in Florida for school. His love for hip hop started with the up-and-coming Northwest scene, and has led to him become fully submerged in hip hop culture. Other interests include crate digging, ultimate (frisbee), and reading sci-fi/fantasy.
