Art: Machine, Ivan Puig, Keith Harring, Medusa & More

Nothing better than finding art you didn’t know yet. That’s why we gonna hook you up with cool art every now and then. Could be pictures, videos, photos, links – as long as it’s good, we’re sharing it. Prepare to get inspired!

Info: VEUCH live painting (graffiti) @ Dune for the Unusewall project.

Info: I don’t think Keith Harring needs an introduction. The famous artist died in 1990 because of aids, so the Keith Harring Foundation decided to release a package of condoms with some great art on it, to ‘promote’ today’s World Aids Day.

Info: The Spanish Ivan Puig has some crazy stuff on his website. I definitely recommend it, because some concepts and photos are mindblowing.

Info: Machine are (two designers, not one!) known for all album covers they did for the Kindred Spirits label. Their resume includes artwork for Dorian Concept, Build An Ark, Kid Sublime and much more. On Nalden’s website you can find the complete repertoire. Click here for more info and visit the gallery here.

Info: Street art is by far my favourite form of art, especially stuff that gets people from their daily routine. Katie Sokoler and Matt Adams put these think clouds up in the city with random stuff in it, women in this case. Really good stuff, would love to see more stuff on the boring streets nowadays…

Info: And last but not least, some graphic art. Medusa created this very nice showreel. They did animations and (graphic) art for Coca Cola, Nokia, Nike and a lot more. Really fresh and colourful stuff, good to see all of it in one video.

And I want to end this edition with a heads up.
In our issues, we tried to involve art as well.

Issues
In all issues you can find some art-related interviews, but in Issue Three we have quite a lot custom made art.
J Dilla, ?uestlove & Black Thought of The Roots and a lot more. Big up to Dustin D’arnault and his crew for the amazing art!
The cover of Issue Two (Pete Philly & Mr. J Medeiros) is also custom made for us, by Matty_Andres!

More
Just so you know where to look for more. Next week we’ll post another edition with more art!
