“Beats In The Key Of Y” is the latest release by producer Dr. LaFlow. He’s been on a lo-fi music binge lately and it leaked a little into his instrumental hip hop sound.
Dr. Laflow: “In fact, I went so far as to record the whole thing to cassette, and take the mp3’s from the tape dub, which gave it a nice warm, kinda fuzzy sound. Everything sort of dances around the bass. That’s what the key of y is all about.”
