After Easter, we are back with our weekly selection! California based wordsmith Surreal blessed us with a track that’s not released officially yet. It’s a remix of Caroline Ailin’s ‘At My Worst’, featuring Dert and Surreal himself.

Info

Longtime hip hop fanatic Surreal has been steadily making moves, paying dues and retiring scores of emcees within a 500-mile radius of his lab in Tampa Bay. A true emcee in every sense of the word, this master of ceremonies has the ability to switch from braggadocio battle emcee to soulful and introspective artist with an innate flow that only comes from a gifted and natural performer.

Next to his solo work (Page 21), Surreal is also known for his work with the legendary The Sound Providers. Together they made the album True Indeed, following their characteristic jazzy hip hop style. Stay tuned for a brand new album by Surreal and The Sound Providers! Next to that, Surreal is working on an album with Dert, called ‘Today’s The Day’. At this date there are no official release dates known.

Music

This week our selection is a remix of ‘At My Worst’ by Caroline Ailin. Apart from a short teaser on Youtube (the original version is 04.07 minutes), this song isn’t released yet. Most definitely it’ll be featured on Caroline’s upcoming ‘At My Worst EP’ this May. Enough babbling, check out a preview of the song below or tune in to Laid Back Radio to hear the full track.
