Spice 1 takes you deep inside the daily life of someone from the ghetto with this joint. Drugs and violence everywhere…dope fiends walk the streets and young people die at an alarming rate. This is all you see in these heavily Black populated areas and Spice gives us the raw truth. A lot of the men in these areas just want to grow old and raise a family, but their circumstances limit those possibilities. Often they must carry weapons for protection from rivals, and sell drugs to put food on the table.

The funny thing is that the drugs are shipped in from out of the country, alluding to a larger operation taking place. One in which the people from these hoods are pawns in a plan to keep these areas messed up and underachieving. He does a good job of showing you harsh realities without coming off too in your face.
