News: Soul Legend Bobby Womack Announces New Album

Sometimes music news is so unexpected and incredible that it makes you exclaim a string of unconnected profanities and nearly tumble backwards out of your chair. That is basically what happened to me upon reading that Bobby Womack will be releasing a comeback album through XL Records, who also released a similar comeback album from the late Gil Scott-Heron.

The LP, titled The Bravest Man In The Universe, will be dropping in June and is produced by Damon Albarn (Gorillaz, Blur) and Richard Russell. Listen to and download the first single from this massive upcoming album!
