News: Trailer of A Tribe Called Quest documentary now available

Sometime in 2009 news about ‘Beats, Rhymes and Life: The Story of A Tribe Called Quest’, a documentary film about one of hip hop’s most influential pioneers, was released. It’s been a while since we heard about it, but now there’s an official trailer and more info available. Actor, comedian and hardcore Tribe fan Michael Rapaport follows Q-Tip, Ali Shaheed and Phife Dawg while they reunite during the 2008 Rock the Bells tour to deliver sold out performances. The story is told by the Tribe members themselves, while Rapaport captures them on this 2-year instinctive journey to uncover the truth behind the abstract influentials representin’ from Queens.
