Recently I found this trailer of the upcoming documentary ‘Exit Through The Gift Shop’. It’s the first ever street art disaster movie. Personally I am really looking forward to see it, and not because the ‘Oh my god Banksy might reveal himself ‘ hype around it. This is definitely an interesting concept I have to keep my eyes open for.
I just finished watching a documentary called “Copyright Criminals” on PBS. It was about the history of sampling and the legal issues associated with it.
Stumbled upon this amazing mix via Twitter and I ended up on the website Rhythm Incursions. Have to admit I didn’t know them yet, but I’m definitely a regular visitor from now on, good stuff over there. This mix includes The Q4, Nosaj Thing, Oh No, Dizz1, Mayer Hawthorne, Exile, Jose James and much more! And for your information: we have interviews coming up with some of these artists I mentioned… Enjoy!

TONE’s artist profiles are always on point. Personally I get introduced to new music I didn’t know yet quite often. Even if you don’t like the music (I doubt that will happen though), then you will still feel the style and camera perspectives. I would definitely be interested to watch full length interviews with videos like this. Was that a subtle hint? Maybe so, maybe no…

Joe Kickass: a young and eager cat with many talents and a great passion for everything oldskool. Frustrated by most of today’s hiphop, Joe drops the accessories and takes it back to basics. With him contributing ill illustrations to the artwork and composing on five of the six tracks, it’s fair to say this EP proves that he’s more then just your average MC.
This week we stumbled upon an album by Muneshine and Saint, who go under the name of The Residents to create the album ‘Open House’.
After our previous successful contests, The Find Magazine brings another contest in collaboration with U Call That Love and L.A.-based rapper Ivan Ives. Win one of the exclusive mixtapes!
Not too long ago BK-One released his first official album ‘Radio Do Canibal’, 19 tracks of goodness heavily inspired by Brazilian music and culture. Next to that he’s touring with partner in crime Brother Ali and is planning to release a new album before the end of the year. We hooked up with the Rhymesayers DJ to talk about being on the road, music and and the life of BK-One.
