Old School Japanese Whisky Commercial with Sammy Davis Jr. (1974)

We’re 42 years late with this one, but it’s pure gold! Singer/dancer/actor and Rat Pack affiliate Sammy Davis Jr. stars in this whisky commercial by iconic Japanese brand Suntory, one of the oldest breweries and distilleries in Japan.

The video features Sammy pouring himself a glass of Suntory whisky on the rocks, while scatting out of pure joy. Or as Bill Murray says it best in Lost In Translation: “For relaxing times, make it Suntory time.”
