The Proov represents hip hop from a jazzy, dusty, funk feel to electro resonance. After a short hiatus since the slightly overlooked ‘ART’ EP in 2007, the hip hop collective is finally back with a brand new album: ‘Off The Cuff’. The Proov is a hip hop group from the Netherlands and consists of MCs Cee Major (the raw funk extortioner) and Gumshoe (the energetic one). They work closely together with funky producers Colt & L.Geronimo, the Proov’s solid producers, and DJ Optimus, The Proov’s backbone.
