Details had already made it out into the vinylsphere that Pete Rock’s very talented brother was working on an EP, and everything is now ready to go on this mix of old and new music. It’s almost been a year since we shared the news of Grap Luva possibly releasing a new EP. So we’re very excited that it’s finally happening, because Grap has teamed up with Slice-of-Spice to release a new 12″ EP called ‘Neva Done’.
Details had already made it out into the vinylsphere that Pete Rock’s very talented brother was working on an EP, and everything is now ready to go on this mix of old and new music. The A-side sees two recent tracks that never made it to a vinyl release, with instrumentals included. The flip sees Grap dust down his SP-1200 and select a grip of his beatstrumentals!
Damu The Fudgemunk is featured all over this release as he can be found on the cuts and boards laying down that signature sound. Slice-of-Spice felt the title for this EP was fitting as Grap Luva demonstrates that whether it’s working with new cats on dope projects, or dusting down old beats for belated debuts… his work is never done!
Slice-of-Spice expects ‘Neva Done’ to be released in late September. Listen to more previews below.
