Dirty Science has to be one of the most consistent crews in underground hip hop right now. Following on from last month’s success on Blu & Exile’s new LP, Exile has teamed up with Johaz to drop a video for their latest tune under the moniker Dag Savage.

The two Southern California natives collaborate with spitters Fashawn and CO$$, as well as vocalist Tiombe Lockhart for this laid back and reflective piece on the darker side of growing up in the golden state. The abstract and subdued sepia toned visuals fit the mood of the tune perfectly, and build on what is fast becoming the crew’s signature video style with typical attention to technical skill and thoughtful direction.

This is the second track released by Dag Savage, and though there’s no talk of any more tunes in the pipeline, I can’t be the only one who’s hoping that there could be. You can download Cali Dreamin’ here for free.
