DJ Format’s upcoming album ‘Statement Of Intent’ is one of those 2012 releases we’re highly looking forward to. The mix ‘Find The Format‘ he did in affiliation with us last year was a great warm-up, but we’re stoked to finally hear more new material.

This third album is DJ Format‘s first new collection of songs since 2005 and features a dizzying amount of influences and collaborators. Edan, Mr. Lif, Sureshot La Rock, The Simonsound and The Nostalgia 77 Quintet all appear on a record that takes hip hop as a base from which to explore a wide range of other genres.
