Kendrick Lamar just dropped another video from his latest critically acclaimed good kid, m.A.A.d city album. This black-and-white visual featuring London born and bred visual artist Eddie Peake is the first of a two-part video series for the track “Sing About Me, I’m Dying Of Thirst.”
The video starts with an opening scene displaying the message of the song (below), followed by Kendrick roaming the streets of Compton, and a mixed medium graffiti mural by Eddie Peake. The second part for “I’m Dying Of Thirst” will be out in January 2014.

Here, two powerful creative forces come together to elevate the status quo and lay ground to their legacy. This is their poetry. Sing about them. This is part one.
