Four Japanese beatmakers got together to dig in the crates and then a one night beat making session. Bugseed, Pigeondust, EeMu, and Salty put together this brilliant little project displaying the result of their night of instrumental construction.
All four producers kill it with gritty jazz and funk samples coating a healthy doses of raw drum breaks. The beat scene in Tokyo is blooming and becoming a vast pool of creative talents.
This project is but a miniscule sampling of the depth of modern Japanese beatmaking, keep your eye on all these artists and do some digging to uncover more of the musical gems coming from the far East.
