Free MP3: Prince Paul – Spongebob (Unreleased 2004 Demo)

“Are ya ready kids?” Producer Prince Paul dropped this lost Spongebob demo as a nostalgic throwback. The title and samples say it all: a short Hawaiian-style instrumental inspired by Spongebob and his friends. Thanks to Ego Trip for this find.

This track was actually a submission for the soundtrack of the Spongebob movie, but it didn’t make the final cut. However, his other submission entitled Prince Paul’s Bubble Party did make it on the original soundtrack.

Prince Paul: “I recorded this and ‘Prince Paul’s Bubble Party’ for the Spongebob movie, and this one got rejected.. I actually liked this the best.” Also check these tunes by producer Esta and emcee Scott D inspired by Rugrats for more childhood nostalgia.
