Listen: Yani Mo – Know U feat. Dana Washington
Building up towards a follow up to last years excellent Compound/Words EP, Atlanta’s Yani Mo releases a new sensuous single “Know U” produced by frequent collaborator MaMa G from Germany and songstress Dana Washington.
As usual, Yani and MaMa G create an supremely laid back atmosphere making the listener feel almost like a sloth sipping on an ice cold caipirinha and chilling in a hammock. This single leaves you flipping back to the previous Compound/Words EP and itching for a subsequent album furthering her style of deep jazzy Digable Planets-esque hip hop.
