News: Cannibal Ox Sophomore Album Kickstarter Campaign
When speaking of boundary-pushing and groundbreaking albums in hip hop, 2001’s The Cold Vein by Cannibal Ox is sure to be mentioned. Emcees Vast Aire and Vordul Mega were on another level both lyrically and stylistically, each darkly representing gritty New York City life over dank and grimy production from El-P.
Since 2001, there has been no fully official follow up to that classic LP. However, a full 12 years later, Vast Aire have finally begun work on a full length sophomore album as Cannibal Ox. Together they have launched their own record label, Iron Galaxy Clik, and are asking fans to donate to make this new album a reality and success. There are a variety of basic perks available for supporters.
