News: Preach Jacobs starts own label; works with Katrah-Quey

Besides the launch of his own label, Sounds Familiar Records, Columbia-based emcee Preach Jacobs announced an interesting collaboration. Together with producer Katrah-Quey he’ll release an EP called ‘Rebel Radio’ later this month.

‘Go Back’ is the first official single off the EP and is up as a free download now. You can listen to a 17-minute sampler of the release below. The soulful EP is the first official release on the new independent label.

Besides that, expect future releases by female singer/songwriter Res, soul-meets-punk by Sons Of Young, eclectic sounds by The Secret B-Sides and Dayclean and of course music by Preach Jacobs himself.
