Cassettes for a Cause: Bid on Tapes with LeftO, Dexter, Habibi Funk, Glenn Astro & others to Support an Anti-Discrimination Charity
Berlin-based DJ Tereza Waters is auctioning a run of 15 special cassette tapes to support GLADT, a local independent organization fighting racism, sexism & discrimination on various levels.
Each tape features an all-vinyl mix by Tereza done together with fellow DJs LeftO, Dexter, Habibi Funk, Glenn Astro, Marie Montexier & Ben Hauke, Buzz-T, Ladies on Records, among others. Each of the twelve mixes was recorded during her German-wide record store tour earlier this year. Stops included Groove Attack (Cologne), Groove City (Hamburg), Oye (Berlin), Vary (Leipzig), Public Possession (Munich), and one stop in London. Three of the tapes are special edition cassettes exclusively made for this auction.
“GLADT is an organization of black, indigenous and PoC lesbians, gays, bisexuals, Trans*, Inter* and queers in Berlin. We are involved on different levels against racism, sexism, trans- and homophobia, ableism, and other forms of discrimination.” – GLADT e.V.
The auction ends this Thursday (30/07). So head into the comment sections on Tereza Waters’ Instagram profile, or hit her up with a DM to bid anonymously. Currently, she has raised a great amount of €567 for GLADT, but up that number and get yourself a super exclusive tape!
