Free Download: Cosmic Compositions – Avant Garde Series Vol.3 [Sun Ra]

New Zealand’s Cosmic Compositions collective have just released their third avant garde instrumental compilation centered around the music and legacy of Sun Ra. The woozy hip hop beats are drenched in astral jazz samples from the massive discography of Sun Ra and his Arkestra, a spectacular follow up to the previous volumes highlighting Alice Coltrane and Pharoah Sanders. 

30 of the best submitted beats were selected for release and include the likes of Yatha Bhuta Jazz Combo (Onra & Buddy Sativa), Ben Jamin’, Melodiesinfonie, FloFilz, Wun Two, Amin Payne, Jublet, Tuamie, and many more.
