Harry Caine is a producer from Morelia, Mexico, a small city in the central province of Michoacán, not exactly where you expect to hear dope hip hop from. Nevertheless, señor Caine is an artist rolling with the Mexican progressive hip hop label PIRA.MD, and his new project Siluetas (Silhouettes) is an excellent free download.

The album is steeped heavily in jazz samples with a range of emotions; from bright and upbeat to more melancholic and psychedelic.  Guest emcees are scattered throughout the album, and while they primarily rap in Spanish, US rappers Stress and M-Wigg appear together on “Concrete Roots”.
