Info: Now Pete Philly & Perquisite split up to work on their solo careers, people can expect new material by both musicians. Perquisite already released a soundtrack for a Dutch movie called ‘Carmen van het Noorden’ and Pete already did some features. Recently he released a new song on his Twitter-page. Nothing official, but just an interesting track called ‘Broken Pete’ – Pete Philly on Broken Beat.

Info: Label Project Mooncircle released a free 50-minute mix to celebrate the fact they released fifty albums! The past seven years they released efforts by artists such as CYNE, John Robinson, The Q4, Obba Supa, 40 Winks and much more. This mix features incredible material by several affiliated artists. Preview: The Best Are Full Of Love
Info: This track was officially recorded by Shawn Jackson (produced by Cook Classics) for ‘The New Classics Mixtape‘ project, but in the end they never used it. Recently Buff1 and Diz put new life into the track by a few new verses. Now the track will be used for Buff1’s upcoming project ‘It’s a 1derful Life’. Info: J1 aka THE DEER released this mix to school us about Parliament Funkadelic. A solid collection of funk, for those of you who are into Funk or for people who want to be educated about it. Like Beats+Crates says it on their site: “If this doesn’t get you hooked on funk…I don’t know what will.” You can find more info and a tracklist on their site.
