Kypski, Dutch turntablist and former DMC World finalist (that makes for a good cv), took another step in his Syntablism adventures. This new development combines turntablism with a modular synthesizer to create all-new sounds through scratching, instead of using existing sounds and samples.

This time he flipped “What’s A Girl To Do“, a contemporary classic by Bas Bron a.k.a. Fatima Yamaha. With Bas’ consent, Kypski created a hard-hitting remake using a modular synthesizer, Technics turntable, and Native Instruments mixer. Instant production porn for DJs, beatmakers, and music fans alike.
