Guest Mix: Thijsenterprise – Between Beats & Jazz
Last month, Dutch producer Thijsenterprise (now residing in Barcelona) impressed us with his Dilla-influenced album Stepbacks & Setbacks: a well-crafted homage to ‘Donuts’, and on the B-side putting personal heartbreak into beats.
After going back and forth over email, we decided to ask him for a guest mix. And here it is: an all-vinyl mix of hip-hop and jazz featuring classics, favorites, several OG samples, and some of his personal heroes.
