Video: DJ Premier & The Badder Band – NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert

With a drummer, bass player, brass duo & DJ Premier himself on the one’s and two’s, this musical army almost bulges at the seams behind a tiny desk. In a bit of an awkward setting, but that’s the fun of NPR’s Tiny Desk concert series. Intimate gigs in an offbeat setting: the desk of NPR host Bob Boilen.

After performing all over the world with his live band, this time DJ Premier and The Badder Band graced the NPR offices with a 25-minute live set featuring self-produced material by Nas, KRS-One, Jeru The Damaja, Das EFX, Royce da 5’9 and -needless to say- Gang Starr.
