Video: Fredfades & Ivan Ave – Breathe

UK indie label KingUnderground is killing it lately. Last week we shared the news of a forthcoming record by Lil Dap (of Group Home) entirely produced by Lewis Parker, and now it’s “Breathe” by Norwegian hip hop duo Fredfades and Ivan Ave that caught our eye.

The deep, jazz-drenched track is the official single of a same-titled EP dropping in 2014. Breathe will be available on digital formats and on a limited edition 12″, including a bonus 7″ with instrumentals by Fredfades (who is also part of The Oslo SP Ensemble).

The EP contains 17 tracks, some of which were produced on the E-mu SP-1200 and the others on the Akai MPC 2000XL. The A-side are all tracks with rhymes by emcee Ivan Ave (formerly known as Ivan Average), and the B-side is a mesh of Fredfades instrumentals, samples and cuts.
