The Return of Wax Poetics

The Return of Wax Poetics

Word to LL Cool J: Don’t call it a comeback. They’ve been here for years, but Wax Poetics is about to be fully revamped and relaunched. And they need the help of all crate-digging and magazine-reading fanatics out there.

After what seemed to be an indefinite hiatus in 2016, new owners and part of the original editorial team now return with a crowdfunding campaign to start digging deep again with Wax Poetics Vol. 2. A fresh start while staying true to the original roots of in-depth music journalism, crate-digging culture, untold stories, and musical discoveries.

The pay-offs on the Kickstarter page all sound promising: “World-class journalism. Personalized digital experience. Heavyweight collectible print. A membership with real value.” And so is the tagline “No clickbait. No gossip. Just real music stories and discovery.” A reintroduction just the way we like it.

Till tomorrow, you get a free digital copy of an unreleased issue called The Special Collector’s Dance Floor Issue, in addition to whatever perk you chose on Kickstarter. You know what you have to do. And don’t forget to tell a friend.

Just an ordinary guy always on the hunt for extraordinary music. Not just as the founder of The Find Magazine & Rucksack Records, but also as a freelance music journalist (bylines at Tracklib, Bandcamp, Wax Poetics, DIG Mag, among others) and—above all—out of love for all kinds of good music.
