A New 50-Track(!) Beat Tape by Quakers

I could sue Geoff Barrow, Katalyst, and 7-Stu-7 for severe brain damage. First, I had a brain freeze when I saw French producer Fulgeance teasing masters of new Quakers. Then it was a brief error when producer Hectic Zeniths tweeted “I barely hear anybody successfully imitate Donuts-style Dilla, but this is pretty spot on,” and hearing the actual release got me close to a brain explosion.

Wow, just wow. Listen to Quakers’ new Supa K: Heavy Tremors release in full below. And Hectic Zeniths was right: tracks like “Boogie Electric” are on another level…

Just an ordinary guy always on the hunt for extraordinary music. Not just as the founder of The Find Magazine & Rucksack Records, but also as a freelance music journalist (bylines at Tracklib, Bandcamp, Wax Poetics, DIG Mag, among others) and—above all—out of love for all kinds of good music.
