Pooky – Flippin’ The Disco / Tux Redux (People Under The Stairs Remixes for Waxnerds)

All the way back in 2009 1980, Thes One & Double K appeared on the Chikara Kurahashi Hit Station, a fictitious variety show in Tokyo. Their contemporary version of Disco Rap resulted in the quite epic Trippin’ at the Disco music video. Not only sampling “Everyman” by Double Exposure, but also lending their 70s disco swagger.

Producer Pooky remixed that track for a new Waxnerds 7″, with a remix of People Under The Stairs’ “Tuxedo Rap” on the B-side.

Pooky’s “Flippin’ The Disco / Tux Redux” is set for a release on April 20th (read: 4/20), but the record is already up for preorder at Bandcamp.
