Review: J-Live – S.P.T.A. (Said Person Of That Ability)

Unlike a lot of veterans still “on the scene” today; J-Live seems to be improving with each new release. Top notch production, as always, and the lyrical content and interesting subject matter of this album was compelling enough to keep me entertained – unlike a lot of today’s “Golden Era” hip hop throughout.

J-Live remains relevant in topic, with a contrastingly throwback flow and overall style throughout the album. While mixing up the energy with a solid array of featured artists, he brings this two-disc album together quite nicely.

‘S.P.T.A. (Said Person Of That Ability’ is definitely a great addition to an already classic catalog. Now, I’m not saying it’s timeless, but it is a great listen for anyone in the mood for that classic touch.
