Emcee/producer Oddisee is following up the outstanding instrumental album Rock Creek Park from 2011 and his true solo debut People Hear What They See, with The Beauty In All coming out on October 1st. It’s going to be a 12-track instrumental journey through Oddisee’s vision on life’s ups and downs.

“Lonely Planet” is the first single from the upcoming album and immediately starts you on the emotional journey Oddisee wants to take you on. Featuring Oddisee’s trademark production with multiple layers, electronic touches and an overall jazz-influenced feel, as a listener you can’t help but nodding your head.

“The Beauty In All” is about the flaws and mistakes that give life its character and worth – how even ignorance can give light to knowledge. For me, not knowing how to do something and still trying is the process of how I evolved my own production style. If everything we are is out in perfect tutorials, I might have never deviated from the teacher. This record is dedicated to imperfection and the sense of pride and accomplishment we get from our struggles.
