DJ Cam has returned with his one-man quartet with the album The Soulshine Session. While DJ Cam has released other work in the meantime, his work as DJ Cam Quartet is a personal favorite.

Diggin, Rebirth of Cool and Stay have consistently been in my rotation since I first heard them, and I was super stoked to hear about a new album, and it doesn’t disappoint. The Soulshine Session is 8 tracks of groovy, chilled out jazz with a hip hop flavor. This gets The Find’s stamp of approval, without a doubt!

Manan is from Illinois (born close to Chicago) and currently in Florida for school. His love for hip hop started with the up-and-coming Northwest scene, and has led to him become fully submerged in hip hop culture. Other interests include crate digging, ultimate (frisbee), and reading sci-fi/fantasy.
