Producer Tom Caruana got quite a lot of praise back in 2010 for “Enter The Magical Mystery Chambers“, on which he put Wu-Tang Clan acapellas over beats sampling The Beatles songs. The project even got a co-sign from Raekwon, who shared it on his Twitter as being “ill.”

Now he’s back with another musical trip consisting of a staggering 48(!) tracks. This time he blends numerous hip hop legends with self-produced beats, once again sampling material by The Beatles. From Rakim to Large Professor, from Slick Rick to Busta Rhymes, from Public Enemy to Lord Finesse, and from Afrika Bambaataa to Ultramagnetic MCs. You name it. This is what it would sound like if The Beatles took their yellow submarine for a trip from Liverpool to New York in the mid-90s.

At times the tracks even get surprisingly funky, with Large Professor’s “Get Back To The City” and “Hey!” featuring the Beastie Boys being two of our favorites. And who would’ve thought “Hey Jude” would be a seriously good match with “The Flyest” by Nas & AZ…
