News: Deltron 3030 announces release dates for new album & EP

Intergalactic hip hop supergroup Deltron 3030 is going back to the future in only a few months from now. According to Consequence Of Sound, the sequel album Event II is due out on September 17th.

The highly anticipated album will be preceded by a new EP titled The City Rising From The Ashes on July 30th, consisting of three tracks from Event II, including the previously released single “Pay The Price.”

It’s safe to say that Event II is one of the most anticipated hip hop albums of the post-millenium, as it’s been 13 years since the release of the classic debut album by space cadets Del The Funky Homosapien, Dan The Automator & Kid Koala. Here at The Find we cannot wait for more otherworldly verbal gymnastics by Deltron Zero, backed by Kid Koala’s outer space scratches and Dan’s forward-thinking beat compositions.

“Quite frankly, this is the record we wanted to make. We had a couple of false starts and everything, but once we got it going it was exactly what we wanted to have,” Dan The Automator said previously. “I think anyone who liked the last record will like this record. But I think this record has a lot of interesting things happening and I think people will enjoy it.” – Dan The Automator
