News: Documentary on J Dilla’s legacy in Europe in the making (+ Trailer)

London-based film maker Shernay LaTouche is working on a documentary about J Dilla’s musical legacy in Europe. The docu titled “The View from the Other Side: J-Dilla A European Remembrance” is set for a release in February 2013 and features inspiring stories and memories by artists like Onra, Chief, BeatPete, LeftO, Mr. Thing and others.

Filmed over a two and a half year period (2009-2012), LaTouche travelled to Paris, London, Lausanne (Switzerland) and Berlin to share the stories of dedicated J Dilla fans to investigate the musical legacy left behind in Europe. Watch the official trailer below.
