Listen: De La Soul – Drawn ft. Little Dragon

Few groups from the golden era are still as active as De La Soul. For a crew that grouped their debut in the 80s, their newer material still shows plenty of new life in this veteran group. 

Recently De La has jumped into crowdfunding and raised $110,000 to fund their 9th album, titled And the Anonymous Nobody. We’ve been hearing tidbits including a track featuring Snoop ahead of the release date, but Drawn was our favorite. Clearly De La is looking to turn heads. Much of this track is a sultry instrumental with the emcees coming on later. Electronic quartet Little Dragon clearly excels here with an intimate and delicate delivery.
